2020
January 29th
• A cottage caught on fire and smoke was coming out of the roof of a cottage in the park at Lincoln and Field.
March 25th
Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak - stay at home order is issued. Audio clip

May 2nd
• The first Assembly Park's Board meeting the first virtual meeting ever held via Zoom and the first meeting of the year.
May 14st
• Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down the state's stay-at-home order, which immediately lifted restrictions on businesses and gatherings.
May 23rd
• Graduation Parade Golf Carts and Cars in honor of the Graduates.
June 13th
• The Assembly Park's Board Annual meeting held via Zoom.
June 21st
• The ballots for the election for the new board members.

• John Neville, a member of the board for 12 years, decided to remove his name from the list of this year’s nominees.

• This avoided a tie which would lead to a Run-off ballot and delayed the board from moving forward on pressing issues.

July 2nd
• For the first time two people park members were diagnosis with of Coronavirus COVID-19

• COVID-19 lead the Board decided to stop mail and package pickups in the Mail Room

• Rob delivered all the mail.

• Technically the beach, parks and hall were closed.

August 21st
• Pete McKay painted the beach wall making the beach beautiful

September 18th
• Arbor Day took on a new look and name - Arbor Day Fest.
November
• The bridge on North Shore Drive was rebuilt
December
• Bradley’s Department closes - it was in business for 168 years, is one of the oldest department stores in the country.

January 3rd
• Rob Mohr celebrated 25 years of service to the Park! Thank you Rob!
April 26th
• Ladies Auxiliary for donating 4 Oak Trees to the Park! The Tim Touchett Legacy Fund was kind enough to donate an additional Oak Tree for a total of 5 - which Rob Mohr plant.
July 17th
• Music by Jeff and Kurt - in the park took place a few times this month.
July 23rd
• Weed harvesting took place at the beach pier - nice improvement.
September 7th
• Hail Storm hits the Park.
September
• Mail room moved from the Caretaker house to the old Board room in Assembly Hall.
September 19th
• Arbor Day - under a new name Arbor Fest was held and added a Arbor Fest Golf Outing at Delbrook, along with a Movie in the Park. YOU CAN ADD THE LOGO
October 16th
• The first annual Chili Cook off was held and hosted by Jeanne LaMarre.
2021 October
• The new mailroom opens, replacing the mail room in the caretaker's house. The board room in the Assembly Park Hall was replaced by the new Mail Room.
September 12th
• The Village Supper Club closes. Reopens Jan. 2024

• New swings are added to all the Park Playgrounds.
2022 June
• Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources have confirmed the presence of blue-green algae in areas of Delavan Lake.
June 12th
• Hello Summer was held by The Ladies Auxiliary after the Annual meeting to welcome people back to the Park after the two years COVID restrictions.
June 18th
• Ladies Auxiliary Votes to change the name of The Auxiliary.
June 19th
• Quinn and Caitlin (two young members of the park) wanted to replace the old swim platform with a new water trampoline at the beach..

• On June 11th they presentation their idea at the Annual Board Meeting on June 11th.

• They raised money for the trampoline.

• They reached their goal in less than 24 hours rating $1,600+.

• On June 19th new water trampoline was in the water.
June 23rd
• Cheeseburger in Paradise aka in Assembly Park.

• Jimmy Buffett was in the area this weekend.
August 28th
• First Annual Private Boat Cruise on the lake departing from Lake Lawn Resort.
September 7th
• First Wednesday DLA Monthly Board Meeting - 7:30 pm, a change from a Saturday morning
