• Mulligan's Sports Pub and Grill (the former Ralph's Steak House) - burns down.

• The baseball diamond gets a facelift. The base paths are leveled out. Thanks Rob!

• Delavan Lake Assembly received the State of Wisconsin, Engineering Excellence Award, for 2016.

• From the American Council of Engineering Companies.

• For the Park's new permeable paver roads.

• Our President, Dr. Michael Connolly and our Caretaker, Rob Mohr received the award, on March 18th.

• At the American Club Resort, Kohler, Wisconsin.
June
• The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has confirmed the presence of blue-green algae in Delavan Lake, a condition that poses health threats for those who use the lake.

• The owners of the Geneva Lakes Kennel Club (closed in April 2006) unveiled plans to transform 200 acres into a mix of new commercial and residential development

2018
January 25th
• Fleet Farm break ground on a 218,653-square-foot store that is be even bigger than the usual Mills Fleet Farm outlet.

• A new park is created, near the main enterance. (Later named Gail Reece Memorial Park)

• A new addition to the basketball court - shorter basket.
July
• The Paul Bonk family donated a truckload if sand for the beach! Thank you!

• The Ladies Auxiliary installed umbrellas at the Beach.

August
• This park gets an update and more sand.
August 11th
• A "Special Meeting" held to discuss the future plans for Assembly Hall, and voted not to move forward with the plans to rebuild the Assembly Park Hall.

• Neighborhood children's book exchange comes to Assembly Park! Thank you to John & Rebecca Glimco for the fantastic new addition located at 1637 Lincoln Avenue near the Hilltop Park.
